Watching my kids grow up is a never-ending amazement to me. Every stage offers some new wonder to behold. I absolutely love being a mom.

The Honeymoon Continues…

Today marks 21 years since my hubby and I made our wedding vows and 24 years since our first date. All these years and 3 children later, I still get butterflies when he smiles at me. I go to sleep each night in amazement of our blessings. I begin each day thinking it impossible to love him more deeply than I do today, and yet that love deepens before each sunset. I look forward to the next 24 years, diving ever deeper into the mystery and beauty of this sacrament we live. Happy anniversary, my love.

‎The Amish do not carry health insurance. The government respects their principles. Christian Scientists want to heal by prayer alone, and the new health-care reform law respects that. Quakers and others object to killing even in wartime, and the government respects that principle for conscientious objectors. By its decision, the Obama administration has failed to show the same respect for the consciences of Catholics and others who object to treating pregnancy as a disease.
